At Cornerstone Home Watch Florida, we are dedicated to providing exceptional home watch services to ensure your property remains safe and secure while you're away. Our team prioritizes your peace of mind, offering regular inspections and prompt communication.
We retired from federal and local law enforcement after 20+ years. In addition, Leo served in the USAF for 10 years. We moved from Alaska to the Ocala area and launched Cornerstone Home Watch of Central Florida. After many years working in law enforcement and seeing people's homes and lives violated by thefts, intrusions and violence, we recognized the importance of a professional and thorough home watch service. We understand how difficult it is to place the trust of your home and livelihood in the hands of others. What we offer is a peace of mind where clients know without a doubt that their home will be treated with the respect, integrity, and professionalism it deserves.

We offer a comprehensive range of home watch services tailored to your needs - from weekly, biweekly, or monthly inspections to ensure your property remains in top condition while you're not there.
We offer a thorough and detailed 25-point inspection to include but not limited to the items below. In addition, a full digital report with photos will be provided after each inspection.
Basic inspection includes but is not limited to the following interior and exterior checks:
- Walk the entire exterior of your property and perform visual inspection
- Insect/pest check
- Check A/C and humidity levels
- Perform a visual inspection of your pool and spa (equipment noises, water level, excessive dirt, discoloration)
- Ensure all doors and windows are locked and have not been tampered with
- Check all shower heads, tubs, and faucets for dripping
- Look for leaks under all cabinets
- Check all ceilings for obvious leaks or mildew
- Look for obvious signs of mildew
- Check breaker panel for tripped breakers
- Water on/off and leak check
- Appliance check
- Toilet flush
- Fill drain traps
- Plumbing check

- Coordinate repair or maintenance services (AC/HVAC, landscaping, plumbing, renovations, realtors, etc.)
- Exotic pet care
- Basic aquarium care
- Package pick up/put in house

We want you to enjoy your time away! If you are retired and "snow birding" or splitting your time between Florida and a second home, we would love to provide you worry free home watch services. Retirement should not be filled with stress and worry! We provide services to all retirees including those residing in one of the many 55+ communities in the area (Top of the World, The Villages, etc).
Cornerstone Home Watch is also a great way to protect your home if you are going on vacation for a week or a month. We can watch your home so that you can enjoy your time away without wondering if things are ok at home.
